Dishes that are traditionally served vegan
(야채축) Rice porridge made with different vegetables like potato, onion, mushrooms, carrot, broccoli and squash. Make sure: no fish stock is used.
(고구마) Roasted sweet potato, usually found as a street food snack.
(옥수수) Steamed corn - street food.
(야채카레라이스) Curry stew made with potato, carrot, onion, broccoli and curry spices and served with rice. Make sure: no meat/fish stock is used.
(과일 믹스) Mix of apple, pineapple, grapes and cherry tomatoes.

(빙수) Shaved-ice dessert made with red beans, fruits and sometimes condensed milk is added. To veganize: ask for no milk or honey.
Glass noodle stir-fry made with vegetables, meat, soy sauce and sesame oil. To veganize: ask for no meat.

(국수) Noodle soup dish, usually made with meat broth.
(설렁탕) Beef soup with rice and noodles, usually made with meat broth.
(김치전) Roasted pancake made of kimchi and wheat flour. Usually contain shrimp paste, meat and eggs.
(두부조림) Spicy braised tofu dish, usually pre-cooked with beef or fish sauce.
(두부쩨개) Soup with tofu and vegetables, commonly made with anchovy or anchovy powder.
(된장찌개) Soybean paste stew made with anchovies and/or meat.
(김치찌개) Kimchi stew made with anchovies and/or meat.
(해장국) ‘Hangover soup’, usually made with beef broth.
